Engineering Precision for US Home Energy & Battery Backup
TheDivineX is an independent technical engineering resource dedicated to eliminating the guesswork in sizing off-grid solar arrays, LiFePO4 battery banks, and pure sine wave inverters.
Our Engineering Mission
Founded to serve US homeowners, emergency preparedness planners, and off-grid RV travelers, TheDivineX was built to replace arbitrary rules of thumb with mathematically verified calculations. When a winter power outage hits or you are boondocking in the backcountry, an undersized inverter or improperly gauged battery cable is not just inconvenient—it can trigger dangerous electrical fires or leave critical medical equipment without power.
Every calculator, runtime formula, and wire gauge recommendation on our platform strictly conforms to US National Electrical Code (NEC Table 310.16) ampacity standards and standard 120V AC / 60Hz electrical grid specifications.
Our 4 Core Calculation Principles
We never assume 100% battery capacity is usable. Our models cap LiFePO4 lithium at 90% DoD and AGM lead-acid at 50% DoD to reflect real-world battery preservation and prevent premature cell failure.
Converting DC to 120V AC is not 100% efficient. We factor in an 8% thermal loss (92% pure sine wave efficiency) plus quiescent idle current draw in all runtime formulas.
Electric motors (compressors, pumps, power tools) require 2x to 3x starting surge wattage. Our inverter sizing algorithms calculate continuous headroom alongside locked-rotor surge requirements.
We calculate high-amperage low-voltage DC cable gauges using pure copper resistance values to restrict circuit voltage drop under 2%, preventing inverter low-voltage alarms.
Editorial Independence & Funding
TheDivineX is funded through transparent display advertising (Google AdSense) and affiliate referral commissions through the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Our calculation results, mathematical formulas, and recommended inverter wattages are generated entirely by code and physical laws—they are never biased by commercial sponsorships.
